This rural retreat is located on a 940 hectare sheep and beef farm. A free continental breakfast is included, which includes cereals, bread, spreads and fruit. The historic property originally operated as a rural school from 1925-1949 and now offers modern accommodation and amenities including a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a seating area where you can relax and a kitchenette. There is a private bathroom. Little Red School House features free WiFi throughout the property and there is a large garden for guests use to relax on or play a game of petanque. The property also features a terrace where guests can enjoy the sunshine and and tranquility or the millions of stars at night. Rural experiences are available on request if arranged prior to your stay such as horse riding, 4-wheel drive trip, watching working dogs in action, hiking, sheep shearing or experience a day in the life on a sheep and beef farm. A Sky Watcher Telescope can also be hired, to use for star gazing for the duration of guests stay, at an additional charge. The property also has items available for purchase including cheese, crackers, chips, chocolate, peanuts, wine, frozen pizzas, lasagna and gourmet pies. There are two walking tracks available, the 3.5 km Valley View Walk and the Pihiohio Ridge Walk which is 8 km long.
